How these coverages are issued

The policies are issued upon a written request sent to the company by the applicant, specifying the type of insurance and the sums to be insured. The management then conducts any necessary inspections and prepares a survey report on the items to be covered. Based on this report, the risk is either accepted or reconsidered, or the coverage terms are revised after the applicant is asked to provide certain protective measures—such as night security, fire-extinguisher cylinders, safe passageways for stored materials, and metal protections for doors and windows.

Claims

If an incident occurs under any insurance cover, the insurer must be notified within 24 hours. The following supporting documents must then be provided:

  • A letter from the policyholder reporting the incident

  • The police report / criminal‐investigation report

  • The final court judgment

For personal-accident claims, the same documents are required plus:

  • The death certificate

  • The Sharia inheritance certificate

Once all documents are received, the company will decide whether to pay compensation.
